May be Edison is what you want.
Tesla could be a good subject.
Another example: Thevenin.
I’m not going to do your homework assignment for you, but here are a few examples.
George Westinghouse
Alexander Graham Bell
Thomas Edison
Nicola Tesla
Tesla is considered a national hero in his home country. He is not quite as famous (in the US) as some of the others listed above. Due to his eccentric personality and unbelievable and sometimes bizarre claims about possible scientific and technological developments, Tesla was ultimately ostracized and regarded as a mad scientist.
However he made huge contributions to the electrical power industry. Many of his “accomplishments” are things you take for granted every day.
You could actually write a paper “A Day without Tesla” on what life would be like without all the devices that were invented by Tesla.
ME, but I’m not famous.
maybe george westinghouse?
The hydroelectric development of Niagara Falls by George Westinghouse in 1896 inaugurated the practice of placing generating stations far from consumption centers.
This Wikipedia article mentions several famous electrical engineers including the ones already mentioned:

George Westinghouse started out inventing mechanical things. He is important in electrical engineering because he backed Tesla and founded Westinghouse Electric.
